Amporah Community Foundation
Life changing technology, for the homes that need it most
Ten percent of every Grand Ballot ticket goes to the Foundation. It pays for solar, batteries and heat pumps for older, disabled and low income households who could never otherwise afford them.
Why it is here, on a travel site
Travel moves people. It leaves a footprint too.
Transfer Travel already stops booked trips going to waste. The Foundation goes one step further: every ticket helps fund clean technology that keeps cutting CO2 for years. It is a practical way to balance the footprint of the journeys our community takes, while lowering bills for the households that need it most.

Travellers
Every trip has a carbon cost. Your tickets fund clean technology that keeps cutting CO2 for years, logged against your name.
Sellers
Your unused booking finds a new home instead of going to waste, and the platform you sell on gives back.

Partners and sponsors
A measured social value story, reported in tonnes and pounds, to stand beside your brand.
Your carbon record
Every ticket leaves a measurable mark
Each prize has a known yearly CO2 saving. When your paid ticket is confirmed, your share of that saving is logged in your account, alongside the money you gave back. Over time it builds into a personal record of the good you have done, one you can share with your community.

Who is hit hardest
Behind every figure is a front door
Older people
Longer hours at home and greater risk from the cold.
Disabled people
Medical equipment and extra heating push bills far higher.
Families with young children
Damp, cold homes harm children's health and learning.
People in draughty rented homes
The least efficient homes cost more than twice as much to heat.
How the Foundation helps
Not a one off payment. A lower bill, for good.
Help with a bill lasts a month. Solar panels, a home battery, a heat pump or a reglazed home cut the cost of staying warm for decades. Households are referred through councils and charities, so help reaches those in greatest need first.
2,344

The name
An amphora, made for today
For thousands of years the amphora carried what a community needed: grain, oil, water, shared out fairly. The Foundation is the same vessel in a modern form. Many small contributions, carried together, delivered where they change a life.

Where the money goes
Amporah Community Foundation
Funding life changing technologies, from solar power to clean heat, for the most vulnerable communities in society.
Carbon credits
Recorded today, ready for certification
We are working towards turning the savings from Foundation-funded installations into verified carbon credits with a registered carbon standard. This is planned, and your record carries forward when it happens. Until a partner certifies them, we show your impact in kilograms and tonnes, not as credits or cash value.
UK today, worldwide next
A blueprint built to travel
Entry and delivery are open to UK residents for now. The UK model is our blueprint: we plan to find delivery partners in the countries where most of our visitors come from, bringing power, connectivity and a better quality of life to vulnerable communities worldwide.
