Terms in brief

Open to UK residents aged 18 and over. The Grand Ballot is a prize competition: every entry, paid, member or free, requires a correct answer to the question on the prize. You can always enter free, once per prize, by answering online, or by sending your name, email, the prize name and your answer on a postcard to Transfer Travel, The Grand Ballot. Free entries have the same chance as paid ones. Paid tickets are held until payment is received by bank transfer; unpaid tickets are not included. Bulk prices: 5% off 5 or more, 10% off 10 or more, 15% off 20 or more, 20% off 50 or more. The winner is picked at random from correct entries once the prize closes, with the random seed recorded so the result can be checked. Prizes are as described, with no cash alternative. 10% of paid ticket income goes to the Amporah Community Foundation and the charities listed.
